FROM THE M.D/C.E.O

A recent survey reveals that Nigeria ranks second in the plantation of rubber after Cote d’Ivoire and ranks 13th globally.
The Nigerian government needs to improve its efforts to support the increase in rubber production to diversify the country’s revenue base particularly now that our oil is becoming more and more unpopular in the automobile industry across the world. Rubber production can replace petroleum as the highest revenue income

The good news is that Nigeria has a vast land area that supports the cultivation of rubber which virtually all states in the southern part of Nigeria supports rubber plantation.

Nigeria has the potential to be the highest rubber producer in Africa with adequate government support. Natural rubber can also replace petroleum products as the highest revenue-generating resource.
It is on this note that it is considered highly imperative for the government to create an enabling environment for the business. A situation where African contributed 7.5% of global rubber needs is not acceptable
